Used as a popular alternative to abrasive fibre discs and suitable for both rough grinding and finishing, flap discs are used without a back-up pad, bolted directly onto a right-angle grinder.  Offering both high stock removal and sanding applications, they are suitable for wood, steel, stainless steel, glass, and ceramic surfaces.
